The one bedroom Bothy sits alongside the walled Garden and adjacent to the potting sheds. Outside, there is parking with a patio-garden terrace with table, chairs, fire pit and a BBQ.

The interiors of the Cottage have been completely redecorated in 2022. The small sitting room is cosy and overlooks the front terrace. There is a TV, dvd player with a small library of movies, Scrabble and backgammon to while away your evenings.

The adjoining kitchen is well equipped and also has a table with 4 chairs for dining (set-up for if you have guests in terms of glassware and china). The hall has a utility area with washer/dryer, boules set and picnic baskets/rugs. The is a sound system dock for iplayer. There is also a safe box. There is a picnic basket and rug.

The bedroom has a 5ft bed, large wardrobe with extra towels, bathrobes and a hairdryer. The adjoining bathroom has a bath with electric over the bath power shower.

The cottage is adjoining the well-known herbaceous borders and you are welcome to explore. At the main house, we have a tennis court and large fishing pond. If you would like to play tennis or fly-fish (catch and release), please check availability at reservations stage. There is no supplement but there may be restrictions if the main house is occupied.

The Bothy is also dog friendly although we do charge a small supplement of £20 per dog for additional cleaning. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing a dog and the breed so we can put an appropriate sized basket.
