Escape into nature at our secluded self-catering Shepherd’s hut near Corwen, in North Wales. Relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside or explore our smallholding with its beautiful views and friendly animals. Peacocks, Guinea fowl, turkeys, hens, geese, all roam freely. Make friends with our alpacas and llamas. We have the friendliest dogs and cats!
As a self-catering hut, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, a kettle, a fridge with a small freezer compartment and a microwave. We are always on hand to assist if you need anything further.
There is one bedroom in this lodge which contains a double bed.
There is one bathroom, which has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.
Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.
There is a fire pit and bbq in the garden. Logs are provided.
House Rules:
- Check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- There is free parking next to the hut.
- Pets are not allowed at the property.
We have a one bedroom cottage and another Shepherd’s hut on site should you wish to come in a larger group.
They are listed as The Shepherd’s hut at Hafoty boeth and the Cottage at Hafoty boeth.
Should you wish to explore North Wales, we are close to the market town of Ruthin, which has all amenities. The coast is 40 minutes away, likewise Snowdonia.
Places of interest include Llangollen, Froncysyllte Aqueduct, Ruthin, to mention just a few.
If you have specific interests, please contact us and we will help with suggestions as to where you can spend your time. For instance, a lot of guests enjoy walking. We have Moel Famau and the Clwydian Range just 5 miles away, with 360 views. Spectacular!
