A wood burning stove, plump sofa, books, oak furniture and bold artwork furnish a spacious sitting/dining room and a warming flame-fronted wood-pellet boiler is an attractive focal point in the kitchen. Take a post ramble soak in the hot tub or an invigorating shower in one of two bathrooms before retiring to sumptuous bedrooms. The master bedroom has a strong romantic presence with a super king size bed dressed with crisp cotton bed linens, set beneath a dramatic gable window which allows natural light to flood in. For flexibility, a second spacious bedroom is furnished with a zip and link bed, which can be presented as a twin beds or a super king size bed on request. There is a garden at the front and another at the rear with a patio for barbecues and alfresco meals. The hot tub is screened from view and looks out across a meadow. The property is off the beaten track, in the rustic hamlet of Merrymeet near Liskeard. Ideally placed for exploring the coasts and moorlands of both Cornwall and Devon, it offers a varied and memorable holiday experience. A dream venue for walkers, access to the south west coast path, three miles of sandy beaches and surfing at Whitsand Bay, Downderry and Seaton a 20 minute drive away.
