Please note: There are 5 steps in the garden.. This delightful, detached, period Cornish farmhouse has been renovated and retains many of its original features. There is a spacious open plan farmhouse kitchen complete with Rayburn and state of the art electric induction range cooker which features a 5-zone induction hob, three ovens with integrated grill, fan and conventional oven and a programmable main oven. There is a huge dining table and comfy snug sitting area with wood burner. This comfortable accommodation, with the owners living nearby, is ideal for larger families and friends. The farmhouse is accessed via a long private rough drive, flanked by Cornish hedging, which leads to a wide gravelled area with ample parking. There are two garden areas and a small patio outside the front door and there is a stable block and barns opposite. A path runs down the drive and through the yard in front of the stable yard. Lower Trembath is set on the edge of a wooded valley and the area attracts visitors all year round, whether you are looking for a wonderful family summer holiday, or rugged winter walks and storm watching.
Sea fishing trips are available from the working fishing harbour of Newlyn, which is less than 2 miles away. Penzance is nearby, with its wide promenade, three major supermarkets, outdoor lido, harbour and busy town centre, and offers a great selection of quality dining options, including small bistros, restaurants, tea rooms and excellent pub food. It is a short drive to the picturesque village of Mousehole with its pretty harbour, small sandy beach and winding streets. Discover art galleries, curiosity and craft shops, excellent harbourside restaurants, great pubs and tea rooms. The area is perfect for exploring west Cornwall and within easy reach of the ancient town of Marazion where you can see St Michael’s Mount, perched on its rocky outcrop. Lands End, Sennen and the famous Minack Theatre are all just a short drive away. The National Trust has places of interest in the area, including Lizard Point, Levant Mine and Beam Engine, and Trengwainton Garden. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
