FORMER HOME OF SIR FRANCIS DRAKE

This 600 year old historic house was formerly the official residence of the former Mayors of Bossiney, including Sir Francis Drake, and was also the home of the famous playwright and broadcaster J. B. Priestley. With some lovely views over the coastline, you will be a 10 minute stroll to the beach, as well as the local shop and pub serving good food. An ideal base for a relaxing holiday, enjoy some wonderful cliff-top walks and sheltered coves. Perfectly placed for touring Cornwall, there are some popular attractions within a short drive and these include Newquay Sealife Centre, Launceston Steam Railway, The Eden Project and the ruined castle at Tintagel which is steeped in Arthurian legends.

The accommodation retains much of its original charm and character, with exposed beams and slate floors, and many rooms enjoy sea glimpses. Offering FOUR bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms which have zip-and-link beds that can be doubles on request. Bathroom: with WC. Shower room: with WC. Further separate WC.
