Try some surfing lessons at nearby Tullan Strand or boating at sheltered Assaroe Lake.Take a day trip to south west Donegal, through Killybegs, Carrick and Glencolmcille and savour the local traditions and culture. Enjoy the spectacular scenery from the sea cliffs at Slieve League. A short distance inland from the cottage will bring you to Florencecourt House and the Marble Arch caves, a wonderful underground experience. Visit the bustling town of Sligo 40 mins away, home of the poet W.B. Yeats, and full of attractions such as galleries, boat trips on Lough Gill, seaweed baths, surfing.
