Nearby there are the popular destinations of Newcastle on the coast with its beach and the city of Newry lined with architecture and a wealth of amenities and activities. Just over the border into the Republic of Ireland is the town of Dundalk which is well worth a visit.

This cottage is located in Newry. Mary Catherine's Cottage and Narrow Water Castle are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Zaffron Day Spa and Ashfield Golf Club. Burren Heritage Centre and Slieve Gullion are also worth visiting.
