About the property
Stapledon is one of four Art and Crafts style apartments set in peaceful grounds with beautiful mature trees and gardens. The light and bright colour scheme, limestone flooring and exposed wooden beams create a particularly cosy space that is complete with an open-plan lounge, a modern kitchen and an elegant bedroom with an en-suite. Upon arrival, you will be treated to a homemade Devon cream tea to start your holiday in true Devonshire style. Should you wish to explore the area, Exmoor National Park and the pretty village of Dulverton are within easy reach.
The space
Set over one floor, step inside the warm and inviting living space which is complete with a modern, Shaker-style kitchen and a cosy lounge with an abundance of natural light and characterful features.
The kitchen is complete with an oven and hob, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a dishwasher and a fridge. Meanwhile, the dining table comfortably seats up to four guests. When you are ready to relax, venture over to the lounge where you will find a sofa, a single armchair and a TV. The cosy wood-burning stove is also on hand for those chillier nights.
There is one beautifully decorated bedroom with sumptuous soft furnishings, a king-size bed and an en-suite with bath and shower.
Outside, you will have access to a patio with a table and chairs for alfresco meals while you admire the idyllic gardens and countryside beyond. There are also plenty of places in the extensive gardens to stroll, picnic or relax, including the lovely garden house with its six-seater table and Green Egg ceramic barbecue.
