Situated in the Blackdown Hills just a few miles from Lyme Regis and the historic Jurassic Coastline is Nuthatch, a two bedroom country cottage sleeping up to four. Guests enter Nuthatch Cottage at Lea Hill from the lovely garden into a very spacious dining area, which features an antique dining table, a dresser and a comfy double sofa, which also converts into a sofa-bed for two additional people. The kitchen is located just off the dining area and has a fridge, a dishwasher, an electric oven and hob, a washing machine and a freezer.

The lovely living room has far reaching countryside views, two comfy sofas and arm-chairs, plus an electric wood-burning stove and a TV. Off the living room is a large hallway with space for hanging coats and storing boots, plus there is a cloakroom with a wash-basin and a WC.

Upstairs there are two good size en-suite double bedrooms. The first overlooks the garden and has original wood beams and loads of storage. The en-suite bathroom, which has Jack and Jill entrances has a bath, a separate shower, a WC and a wash-basin. The second double bedroom overlooks the front of the house with more wonderful country views, it too benefits from its own en-suite bathroom.

Nuthatch has its own private garden with garden furniture ideal for alfresco dining.

Located in Axminster, this cottage is in a rural area. Chard Museum and Marine Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium and Seaton Jurassic. Pecorama and The Donkey Sanctuary are also worth visiting.
