Description
Opening right on to the moors you can follow in the footsteps of Sherlock Holmes in this beautiful Victorian Villa. This characterful property is located in the heart of Dartmoor National Park in the historic village of Princetown, where Sir Author Conan Doyle stayed and started writing his famous story of Sherlock Holmes – The Hounds of the Baskervilles. Guests can relax in comfort throughout the property’s spacious and tastefully renovated downstairs living accommodation, including a sitting room displaying traditional charm and an open fire for cooler months, or entertain in the open-plan kitchen/diner flowing through to a play room with patio doors leading out to a rear courtyard and garden. Benefiting from a large enclosed garden with views from the rear across open moorland, guests can eat alfresco style on the gravel courtyard and unwind throughout the mature garden.
