Birds-I-Vue is a spacious dormer bungalow perched above the beautiful village of Beer. From the oversized bay window in the large sitting room, the conservatory and the French doors onto the balcony in the master bedroom there are stunning views all across Lyme Bay (as far as Portland Bill) and down onto the village of Beer.
The house is surrounded by gardens including soft fruit in season and a summer house. The large outside table comfortably seats 6 with additional benches to enjoy the views.
There are porches to both the front and the side of the property providing plenty of space to leave walking boots and beach paraphernalia, the one adjoining the kitchen also houses an additional fridge.
The central hallway leads off to the large sitting/dining room. Near enough the full length of the room is given over to glass with the bay window and patio doors leading on to the conservatory. The room houses one large sofa, two smaller sofas and an arm chair. The dining table comfortably seats 6. The room is decorated with original artworks of local scenes. There is a television, DVD player, docking station/radio and WIFI hub in this room (the WIFI signal extends throughout the house).
The conservatory has a sofa, two arm chairs and coffee table as well as a further dining table with chairs for four.
The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of crockery and glassware as well as plenty of plastic cups and bowls for children and picnic ware for al fresco dining. There is an electric oven with hob, a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, further fridge/freezer and tumble dryer (the washing machine is housed in a separate cleaning cupboard adjoining the kitchen.
The newly fitted bathroom has a free standing bath, large separate shower, toilet and sink.
The first ground floor bedroom has two full size single beds, a large chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The room has two large picture windows with views of the gardens and village below. There is plenty if space in this room for the travel cot which can be supplied on request.
The other ground floor bedroom also has two full size single beds and a wardrobe. There is also a sink with a vanity unit with shaver socket above.
The hall cupboard holds books and board games. If you want to take a book home with you please leave one to replace it.
Stairs lead from the hall up to the master bedroom. French doors open onto a balcony with a bistro table and two chairs. There is a double bed and fitted wardrobe with shelving, the landing to this room also leads into the shower room with toilet and sink.
