Mentioned in the Domesday Book this 100 acre working farm on the slopes of the pretty Teign Valley is ideal for both family holidays and those wanting peace and quiet. Next to the owner’s home this delightful thatched farmhouse has an enclosed garden opening onto the farmyard. Children will love the galleried bedrooms and they are encouraged to help with the animals. Bring wellies for the farm! There is a nature trail and visitors are free to wander over the farmland (pictured) which has an abundance of wildlife. Hennock a farming village is a 10 minute walk. Bovey Tracey with several shops pubs and restaurants and Cantonteign Falls reputed to be the highest waterfall in England are both within 2 miles. Teignmouth’s sandy beach is just 7 miles away and there is excellent walking and riding on nearby Dartmoor. Four golf courses and a heated indoor swimming pool with sports facilities are within 5 miles. Exeter Torbay Dartmouth and Tornes are within 0.5 hours drive.
