Make your way outside to the hugely impressive walled gardens which are safe for the children to run around in and there are lots of opportunities for the grown-ups to sit in the gardens and really get into the holiday vibe. Head to Lyme Regis for a day at the beach, do some fossil hunting and check out the great selection of shops, galleries, boutiques, bars and restaurants as well as Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium and Lyme Regis Museum. Some great attractions for the whole family to enjoy in the area include Lister Gardens Mini Golf, Axe Valley Wildlife Park, the Jurassic Fun Centre and Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens.
