Secluded cottage nestling in the New Forest National Park, on the outskirts of Burley village with its amenities and local pubs. Ringwood is just 3 miles away with all the amenities you may need like Waitrose, Sainsbury, David Lloyd, and Ringwood Leisure Centre.
The STABLES is on the estate of a large Country House. Access is via a track through the forest to the Estate's main gates. We ask our guests to please shut the main gates when arriving and leaving and secure them to prevent the animals that live in the forest from entering and eating the garden. Such are the joys of living in such a unique part of the UK.
There is direct access to the surrounding forest and beautiful areas with panoramic views close by, a great place for picnics and watching the sunset with a drink in hand. For the energetic, there are many walks, bicycle routes, and beaches within 15 min by car and horse riding. The Stables sleep six but when booked with the New Forest Cottage Ref 8399552 larger groups of 12 can be accommodated.
The Stables were the stables and groom's quarters that have been completely renovated to modern standards. The Stables are ideal for anyone who cannot climb stairs. Accommodation comprises a large kitchen diner, comfortable living room, and three bedrooms. The modern kitchen has its own dining area perfect for family dining, with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, electric kettle, microwave, coffee machine, and American-style fridge/freezer.
The living room has a TV with Roku and Netflix included. The Stables enjoy free Wifi. Speed 100+ Mbs. Three well-appointed bedrooms, two with standard double beds and one with twin single beds. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor. The bathroom is downstairs and has a separate shower. There is also a downstairs cloakroom.
It has its own patio garden with a covered dining area perfect for alfresco dining even on a rainy day. This is a great base for all the family to enjoy, even your four-legged pets! Bring your bike and keep it in the onsite shared bike store. There is plenty of parking for 3 cars and pleased to welcome two well-behaved medium-sized dogs (Labrador size) to accompany you. A cot and high chair are available on request. We do ask that dogs be kept in the kitchen.
We like to welcome you in person to the stables with social distancing whenever possible. Alternatively, keys will be left in a key safe. If you have any questions during your stay we are generally on hand to help as we live in the main house.
Changeover days are Friday and Monday. We always try to be flexible if possible.
