Enjoying an enchanting position on the Northern tip of the Rhins Peninsula, located a few miles from the village of Kirkcolm, is this detached lodge. With views across to the Kintyre Peninsula, Arran, Ailsa Craig and Northern Ireland, spend the evening watching the sun setting, as ferries pass. This spacious accommodation is the perfect base for a large group of family or friends looking to spend some time within this picturesque part of Dumfries and Galloway, with a well-equipped base to come back to each evening. Here, you will be spoilt for choice by the sleeping accommodation, with four well-presented bedrooms (two of which en-suite) situated across both floors to choose from, designed to suit a group of all ages and tastes. All rooms come with super-king-size beds which can be split (zip/link) into two full size single beds per room. Look forward to spending your down time within the spacious sitting room, where you can curl up in front of the woodburning stove or enjoy a game of pool in the sunroom and admire the far-reaching views of the Irish sea. The designated chef of the group will be delighted by the well-equipped kitchen, where a Falcon range cooker takes centre stage before all of the other appliances you will require to cook a delicious home-cooked meal. Spend a moment or two outdoors where you can roam the large lawn and make friends with the inquisitive farm animals in the adjacent fields before enjoying a spot of alfresco dining during the warmer months. If you can tear yourself away from this delightful base, take a walk down to the Lighthouse Hotel where you can enjoy a meal made from the best of local fare or head into the village of Kirkcolm for a tasty meal at the local pub. For those feeling active venture a couple of miles along the road to Lady Bay, a beautiful secluded beach or further afield to the sandy beaches and cliffs of the Mull of Galloway. Alternatively, discover the Scotland’s most exotic gardens at Logan Botanic Gradens or over 75 acre of gardens at Castle Kennedy. Or you could even hop on a ferry to Belfast. Corsewall Castle Farm Lodges is a wonderful base for a family gathering to Scotland. Please note: this property can be booked along side property ID: 947014. Sleeping 17 in total.
