The Space
East Cottage is 5 mins drive to St Andrews and boasts a wood burning stove-fired hot tub. The 2 bedroom cottage has a spacious living/kitchen area with bifold doors out to the large dog-friendly garden. One bathroom with doubled-ended bath and shower.
Comfortably sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. Free parking for 2 cars. Suitable for families, holiday-makers and golfers alike. 5/10 mins drive into St Andrews. Free Wifi in the property. The property has it's own entrance on the ground floor and ample on-street free parking directly outside. The accommodation layouts are as follows: Ground Floor - 1 superking bedroom with storage, 1 twin room that can be made up as a double or twins. Bathroom. Living area/kitchen has bifold doors out to the garden as well as a stable door out to the garden. The outhouse is in the garden and has a 3 seat electric Lazyboy sofa. The TV has Netflix and a PS4. **Please note if the weather is particularly harsh and has been raining constantly, this outhouse will be out of action as the water table creeps up to the floor level** Hot Tub - please note there is an extra charge if you wish to use the wood-fired hot tub - please see the Add Ons section to purchase this extra. There is a lot of preparation involved and we provide a hot tub package which includes robes, wood, hot tub filling (90 mins) and fire setup. The hot tub will take around 2/3 hours to reach full temperature and does get very hot, so please be very careful. Guests will have full access to the entire property (with the exception of hot tub if not booked). No rooms will be off limits and all contents within the cottage including the outhouse are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and the cooking implements. Smoking is not permitted within the property. I expect all guests to respect the property and our neighbours. Dogs are welcome however an additional dog charge will be applied.
The Neighbourhood
St Andrews is home to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the famous Old Course. Its amenities include Scotland's oldest university, founded in 1413, beautiful award-winning beaches, historic buildings, including the ruins of the cathedral, castle and St Rule's Tower and a wide variety of specialist shops and restaurants. Renowned worldwide as "the home of golf” St Andrews has seven world-class links courses and others in the area include The Dukes, Kingsbarns and the Fairmont St Andrews complex. Within 15 minutes drive, you have an absolute wealth of beauty with the East Neuk of Fife and its picturesque towns and villages, including Crail, Elie, Kingsbarns and many more.
Getting Around
Everything in St Andrews is within walking distance, be it the sights, the beaches, the aquarium, the Links golf courses and many more facilities. The bus routes are all frequent and easy to use. Taxis are relatively cheap given the short distances between places in St Andrews. A taxi from the centre of town to the cottage will cost £15-20.
Guest Access
Guests will have full access to the entire property. No rooms will be off limits and all contents within the house are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and the cooking implements.
Pre-Arrival
When the booking is confirmed you will receive instructions via a web link with all the necessary information to check yourself in at your leisure from 4pm. If early check in has been purchased check in will be from 3pm. Please note that access is not permitted to the property before this time, and we cannot store any luggage prior to check in.
Check in is via a secure key box for which you will be provided the code prior to arrival.
During Your Stay
We are happy to communicate with all guests as much as necessary, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay.

This vacation home is located in Cupar. Fife Folk Museum and British Golf Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Swilken Bridge and Hill of Tarvit. St. Andrews Aquarium and Cairnie Fruit Farm & Mega Maze are also worth visiting.
