There are the vast green spaces of Etherow Country Park and Brabyns Park, the fabulous Torrs Riverside Park within a 15-minute drive and being on the edge of the Peak District National Park means that popular tourist attractions such as Buxton, Edale, Bakewell Chatsworth House and Castleton are accessible within an hour.
