Wind your way up a long private lane to find this charming cottage which sits on a farmstead with fantastic views. Gaze out at the Offa s Dyke Path and plan your route on the 177 mile trail which hugs the Welsh/English border. A more relaxing day can be had in the pretty market town of Crickhowell, home to independent shops, ancient inns, arts trails and walking festivals. Access the River Usk from Crickhowell and try your hand at fishing and canoeing before returning home to this quaint dwelling for some peace and quiet. Wooden features and rich colours flow through the open plan living space where the kitchen/lounge/diner create the heart of the home. Settle down on the comfortable sofa and the armchair and while away lazy afternoons in front of the TV; sitting beneath exposed beams stay warm with the wood burner effect electric fire. The kitchen area is compact yet has everything you need to cook up a storm, plate up at the dining table and enjoy eating together. Alternatively, you could serve up al fresco and dine outside in the garden, reached by climbing steps, or fire up the BBQ for a sundowner feast. Upstairs, the family bedroom and bathroom are the last remaining rooms. Take care with the sloping ceiling and admire the exposed beams which line the ceiling as you drift off. Enjoy a refreshing shower before or after your explorations and rinse away any aches and pains. Stepping outside, glorious views will whisk you into holiday mode right away. Take your morning coffee outside and sit at the table under the morning sun. To kick start the day with some exercise, chat to the property owners and take the plunge in the indoor heated pool which has a resistance machine. Onsite stabling facilities mean you can invite your horse on holiday too and head out for rides straight from the farm.
