Enjoy a family walk up to Denbigh Castle (10 minute walk from the house), resting on a steep hilltop, you can take in the amazing views of North Wales from here and get some amazing holiday snaps next to this dramatic fortress. Walkers can delight in being within easy reach of the wonderful Clwydian Range and Offa’s Dyke, with the highest point being the ever popular Moel Famau, you can embark on picturesque walks here, with the Loggerheads Country Park also great for family strolls. Those who enjoy mountain biking can head out to Llandegla for some brilliant tracks and trails along the moors, while watersports enthusiasts can head north to the North Wales coastline and visit the beaches of Prestatyn and Colwyn Bay, with the latter being home to Colwyn Bay Watersports, perfect for beginners.
