Beautifully renovated, and new for 2023 Snowdonia Manor (Y Llwyn Manor) is the perfect hideaway home for families and groups of friends looking for a picturesque retreat. The Grade II period property believed to date from the late 16th Century has been recently modernised and refurbished whilst retaining its grand period features. Sleep up to 18 guests across three floors, with two reception rooms, games room, formal dining room and outdoor hot tub with enclosed garden.

The perfect setting for large gatherings, the nine individually designed rooms offer a range of accommodation options for families of all sizes. Each room is furnished to the highest standard, with sumptuous bedding, comfortable mattresses, and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

The manor boasts a fully equipped kitchen, which is perfect for preparing family meals together. A short stroll away you'll find a handy convenience store that sells local ingredients and essentials to keep you stocked up during your stay.

The building is steeped in local history, the present house was rebuilt in the later 17th Century, and a top floor was added in the early 19th Century. The home is Famously linked to Welsh politician Lewis ab Owen who targeted and sentenced around 80 of the red-haired bandits of Mawddwy.

Located inside Snowdonia National Park you’ll be surrounded by stunning scenery with plenty of outdoor activities. With nearby Cader Idris, a popular mountain located near Dolgellau offering stunning views from the summit and several hiking trails to explore. Or why not try the Mawddach Trail that runs alongside the Mawddach Estuary and enjoy the surrounding mountain landscapes. It's perfect for cycling or walking and is suitable for all ages.
