What a fantastic holiday cottage! St Agnes stands in the most gorgeous location where every room enjoys breathtaking views along the coastline and across the bay to Cnicht, ‘the Welsh Matterhorn'. So much care and thought has gone into the refurbishment of this delightful terraced house. The bright and contemporary open plan living area has the most stunning view. The original floorboards, combined with modern furnishings, and an electric wood burning-effect stove, make this is comfortable and and cosy space. The dining table and chairs are positioned to soak up the amazing view, and there's comfy seating and a TV around the fireplace. There is a stunning Juliet balcony where you can sit and soak up these lovely sea views. The kitchen is equipped with a four-ring hob, oven, fridge with ice compartment, slimline dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The bedrooms are all on different levels of the house. They can all be made up with king size or twin single beds. The top bedroom has original stripped floors and ceilings. There is a fantastic walk-in shower and a carefully hidden loo and wash hand basin. The middle bedroom has a freestanding roll top bath which takes centre stage so you can lie back and soak up the view! The loo and basin are discreetly tucked away. Also downstairs is another small kitchen close to the garden, with electric oven and hob and microwave - ideal for a couple of extra guests, teenagers or friends. The small garden with table and chairs overlooks the bay and is accessed by descending the stairs. There is a low stone wall enclosing the garden. The position of the house is perfect for photographers, bird watchers and artists as it has one of the best views of Wales. A short walk takes you to a delightful sandy cove, known locally by some as ‘Sian's Cove' (Sian owns St Agnes!). Borth Y Guest has a good restaurant and a lovely cafe on the front. A short drive, or a longer walk, brings you to Porthmadog, which has interesting shops and galleries, and restaurants - try Yr Hen Fecws or The Ship. You can ride on the Welsh Highland and Ffestiniog Railways, or venture into the mountains of Snowdonia. Bringing paddle boarding and sailing right to your doorstep. The costal path is on the door step and there are three golf links close by. This is an Ideal location for Fishing enthusiasts. Whether it is early morning, or the end of a busy day, it is so relaxing to watch the ebb and flow of the tide in this pretty half moon bay. This property may not be suitable for those with mobility issues, as the stairs are steep and over four floors. Please note that the loos are Saniflow. Specific instructions will be left in the house where appropriate. The double basement bedroom is accessed through the bedroom with the roll top bath. Unless requested, all beds will be made up as kings sized. The beds will be made made up as advertised, if you would like a different bed configuration please contact Menai Holidays 7 days before your arrival.
