Galwad Y Mor, Niwbwrch (newborough)

Gwynedd. Sleeps up to 6

Galwad Y Mor is a charming detached cabin on the outskirts of Newborough on Anglesey. It is the nearest property to Newborough Forest and Llanddwyn Beach, both of which are noted for their beautiful scenery and wildlife. Galwad Y Mor is an excellent choice for a party or family of six, for its location and home comforts. The cabin is located in a fairly rural area, with spectacular views of Snowdonia, and features outside furniture and a wood-burning stove, making it ideal for an evening meal with a view. Inside, you'll find a contemporary, open-concept living space with lots of sumptuous seating, ideal for sharing stories over a glass of wine, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen, ideal for creating delicious meals for six people to share at the dining table. Continue on to the bathroom, where you can soak in the tub or refresh yourself in the overhead shower. When it's time to sleep, there are three wonderfully appointed bedrooms to select from: a king-size with an en-suite shower room, and two twin bedrooms. There is a local convenience store in the village, superb fish and chips at The Codmother, the Anglesey Transport Museum and Café, and the Llyn Parc Mawr Community Woodland, where you may observe local animals. Newborough Forest, managed by the Forestry Commission, is a red squirrel sanctuary with a myriad of species to discover; ideal for cycling, walking, or running, the forest also serves as a gateway to the shore and the Anglesey coastal path. Traeth Llanddwyn, on the edge of Newborough Forest, is a lovely site to spend the day at the beach while admiring Snowdonia's breathtaking surroundings. Anglesey Sea Zoo and Bodowyr Burial Chamber are two local attractions on the fringes of the village. Following that is Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, which has many sights to view, including the famed Plas Newydd House and Gardens, the National Trust Caeau Glan-y-mor, the breathtaking landscape along the Pont Britannia Lions & Coastal Path, and the fun and educational Pili Palas Nature World. Visit Bangor, which is home to the National Trust's Penrhyn Castle & Garden, a Roman Camp, and the Spinnies Aberogwen North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve. At Galwad Y Mor, you can get away from it all.
