Just six miles from a sandy beach, these four delightful, comfortable properties peacefully lie in the heart of 108 acres of wild flower-strewn meadows and woodland in a superb valley near the mountains of Snowdonia. There is a wealth of wildlife including red kites, buzzards and owls. The properties have been renovated and tastefully furnished to a very high standard. Two of the properties have their own well-planted secure gardens, whilst the others share a beautiful Mediterranean-style courtyard garden. Visitors can enjoy superb walks through the grounds and surrounding countryside. A river with dramatic waterfalls runs through the estate a quarter of a mile away, offering the chance of a swim in the natural pool below the falls, and a one and a half mile stretch of fly fishing. Visit the owners’ stud of miniature Shetland ponies, including the delightful foals. All properties are cosily heated throughout, making them ideal for holidays at any time of the year.

There is a superb selection of restaurants and pubs locally, including Castell Deuraeth, which offers outstanding food and service in a superb setting. Village shop and Post Office in Llan Ffestiniog and several supermarkets in Porthmadog. Five miles away lies the fascinating Portmeirion, with its warm-coloured, romantic, Italianate buildings and exotic plants. Porthmadog (8 miles) is the gateway to the Lleyn Peninsula, one of Wales’ five Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches and popular resorts. Within a short drive are the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland light railways. Harlech has the acclaimed Royal Saint David’s golf course, one of Britain’s most impressive castles and miles of most wonderful sandy beaches.
