Bickton Mill is a spacious, comfortable, 4 storey town house which forms part of a converted 18th Century mill,  located on the banks of the River Avon, one mile south of the medieval town of Fordingbridge and five miles north of Ringwood. This attractive, interesting property offers flexible accommodation with stunning riverside views from every window, making an idyllic setting for a relaxing, peaceful holiday.  Fishing in the river around Bickton is actually owned by a club which is members only.  However you can purchase day permits from the 2 fishing shops in Ringwood for several local fishing spots.
Being close to the New Forest National Park boundary the area is ideal for walking, cycling, horse riding and of course fishing. There is also lots of interesting bird life around the Mill like black swans, kingfishers and different types of ducks. The nearest beaches are approximately 15 miles away. The carpeted spiral staircases make this property unsuitable for people with mobility problems or small children.

Accommodation:
Ground floor: Entrance from front door into dining room with views over the River Avon and seating for eight. Through to hallway with spiral staircase to upper floors.
Kitchen/breakfast room with gas hob, built-in electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge, large freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Kitchen table and chairs. South facing view and door to private patio and shared garden. 
First floor: Large south facing lounge with flat screen TV/DVD player and beautiful views over the gardens and River.   Second sitting room/snug with games TV/DVD and a selection of books and fantastic views over the river.
Toilet with hand basin. 
Spiral staircase to second floor:
Bedroom one with 5ft double bed, ample storage, south facing views over gardens and river, ensuite with shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.
Bedroom two with 4ft 6in double bed, storage and views over the River Avon.
Family bathroom with bath, shower over bath, hand basin and WC.
Spiral stairs to third floor:
Bedroom three is a twin room with two 3ft beds, two velux windows and south facing views over the river and countryside.
Bedroom four with one 3ft single bed, two velux windows with views over river and countryside.
Family bathroom with bath and shower over, hand basin and WC.

Outside: Due to the close proximity of the property to water, children and dogs must be supervised at all times and no swimming is permitted. The south facing private patio has seating, picnic table and barbeque. Steps down to the communal shared garden and Mill pond. Direct access to river walks with Fordingbridge a twenty minute walk across fields and bridges over streams.

Included: Bed linen and towels (please bring own beach towels), electricity and gas central heating.
