Town: The flourishing Worcestershire community of Welland, which has a Post Office, a local store, and its very own family-run vineyard that produces award-winning wines that can be bought directly from the producers, is located just south-east of the stunning Malvern Hills. Due to the abundance of animals, vegetation, and fauna on Castlemorton Common, which is part of an SSSI, the common offers a number of wonderful walks and cycling routes. On the eastern side of the striking Malvern Hills, the lovely Worcestershire town of Malvern, which dates to the Bronze Age, is located. The hills, which are part of a nine-mile stretch of ancient rock and are designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offer 100 miles of footpaths and bridleways with natural springs and expansive vistas in all directions. The town has several auctions, farmers' markets, antiques fairs, WI country markets, antique shows, and the Great Malvern Food Festival in June. The Malvern Theatre hosts performances from the Royal Shakespeare Company and the West End. There are National Trust estates and gardens nearby, as well as opportunities for fishing and river cruises. Malvern is home to the Three Counties Showground as well as other unique stores, cafes, art galleries, and restaurants. It also includes a lavish spa. As the birthplace of the Morgan automobile, Malvern is well-liked by aficionados. On the banks of the River Severn, the charming town of Upton upon Severn is home to a number of charming buildings from the 17th century as well as appealing stores like The Pudding Shop, classic inns and cafes and its very own museum. Numerous annual festivals, such as the Sunshine Music Festival and the Jazz, Folk, and Blues Festivals, are also held there. The town's mediaeval church, which is now a Heritage Centre, is crowned with a remarkable 18th-century cupola known locally as The Pepperpot. It also has its own marina, winery, and well-stocked farm shop at the nearby fruit farm. The cathedral city of Worcester and the waterfront city of Gloucester are also nearby, as is the scenic Forest of Dean with its variety of attractions, which is only 30 miles distant.
Located in Ledbury, this cottage is in a rural area and on a lake. Westons Cider Mills and CJ's Old Grove Farm Shop are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Three Counties Showground and John Moore Countryside Museum. Traveling with kids? Consider The International Centre for Birds of Prey, or check out an event or a game at Barnards Green Cricket Club. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling nearby.
