The lovely sun room at the front is a perfect place for enjoying a morning coffee while appreciating the views and the formal sitting room is a sociable place to gather for a chat at the end of a busy day. The kitchen in this Cairngorms cottage is very well-equipped and leads through to the impressive dining room, which seats 19 and provides a great place for a lively dinner with friends and family. Outside there is an acre of garden, with a fully-enclosed, child-friendly, rear garden and a terraced front garden with private seating areas. The friendly village of Newtonmore offers good local services and shops and if you fancy a spot of golf you are just two minutes’ walk away from the clubhouse. The Cairngorms National Park offers so much in terms of outdoor pursuits and sight-seeing at all times of the year. If you are tempted to climb a few Munros then Alvey House is within one hour’s drive of over 50 Munros and just 30 minutes away is the CairnGorm Mountain, a skier’s paradise. If you prefer some wildlife watching then Insh Marshes is one of the most important wetlands in Europe and ospreys, hen harriers and many more birds can be regularly seen.
