Surrounded by tranquil open countryside, this 17th-century traditional stone farmhouse Pentreheulyn is just four miles from the delightful village of Cemaes Bay, with it’s pretty fishing harbour and lovely sandy beach. Steps lead up from the entrance hall to the kitchen/diner which still has the original quarry tiled floor. The kitchen is well equipped, with electric range oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster and all the crockery, pans and utensils you can think of. The large kitchen table can easily seat up to six people. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and freezer. There are two sitting rooms. The first is spacious, traditionally furnished with original beams and comfortable seating, a wood burning stove, a TV and a selection of games. The second sitting room also has comfortable seating, a table perfect for family games and a TV with DVD player. There is a downstairs shower room with corner shower, loo and wash hand basin. There are three bedrooms. One double and two twins, both with charming original feature fireplaces. A window seat at the top of the staircase is the perfect place to sit and relax with a book. The upstairs bathroom has a bath with shower over and wash hand basin. There is a separate toilet. There is a games room, with a 3/4 size snooker table, football table, magnetic dartboard and white/ black boards. The spacious garden is fully enclosed and the owners have provided a trampoline and a swing that kids will love. There is also a patio area to the front of the property with garden furniture. There is a lake with resident ducks and geese less than a 5 minute walk from the cottage, which is perfect for a gentle walk and a great spot for a picnic. There is ample parking for several cars and a large secure storage area for bikes. This can also be used for keep dogs secure. This traditional farmhouse is full of character. The owners who live close by on the family farm have taken great care to retain the charm of this property while providing every modern day comfort for guests, including full central heating.
