Canterbury is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in all of England. If you are searching for a picturesque location, where you can soak up the seasonal scenery, shop the various boutiques, and enjoy the award-winning restaurants, lively bars and cosy pubs, then Canterbury is waiting for you! At the heart of this medieval city is Canterbury Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also home to three universities, Canterbury is full of deep heritage and rich culture. Stroll the cobbled streets, enjoy a boat tour along the River Stour, or even take a bike ride around the Kent countryside. If you’re looking for a day trip, the coastal towns of Whitstable and Herne Bay are only 30 minutes away.
Just under a one hour train ride from central London, getting to Canterbury couldn’t be easier. The M2 motorway makes quick trip from London or the Port of Dover, and there are plenty of bus and coach services to the coast and countryside every day.
Guests have access to the entire home during stay.
Between the modern kitchen and the luxurious lounge, the open plan main floor provides a multifunctional space that will suit all guests. Relax on the sumptuous velvet sofa and use the large smart tv to catch up all your favorite shows. Or if you’re in the mood for cooking, take advantage of the fully fitted kitchen, complete with everything you might need to make your favorite meal. If you need to get some work done, sit at the table and benefit from the fast wifi and quiet environment.
Enjoy any one of the five luxe bedrooms for a quiet retreat, complete with blackout curtains and orthopedic mattresses. Two of the bedrooms even have their own private balconies, the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a cheeky beverage in the evening. This home provides an excellent base that is very close to Canterbury, a town renowned for its historical sites, universities, great dining experiences, and shopping.
