Close by is the famous Sissinghurst Castle Gardens and the area is abundant with gorgeous National Trust properties, castles and national parks. There are lots of woodland trails and forest walks locally, a golf course, steam trains in nearby Tenterden and vineyards where you can enjoy a tour and a taste. The ceiling heights are in keeping with the age of this Grade II listed property; ground floor headroom is only 6ft 1" in a few places, although mainly more generous. Steep stairs. No washing machine or tumble dryer. Outdoor airer for hand washing garments.
