Space
The 3 storey stone built property, built around 1790, has been furnished in a modern country style. The contemporary open plan living is furnished with classic leather and Harris Tweed sofas around a log burner. Comfortable oak dining suite complements the modern country kitchen equipped with everything needed to entertain as desired. Traditional stone flags with underfloor heating, exposed beams and an open plan design. The walls have been decorated with paintings of the town by local artist William Jones. Three luxurious, large and light double bedrooms, two with en-suite shower rooms, are classically furnished. A comfortable 7th person Jaybe foldaway bed can be made available and will fit easily into any of the 3 large bedrooms. The luxury main bathroom includes a walk in shower & an amazing roll top bath in which to soak after a walk through some of the most stunning landscape in England.

There is a shared courtyard for your enjoyment & a stone storage facility. The accommodation is set over 3 floors with all bedrooms and bathrooms accessed via stairs. Emergency exits are via ground floor or first floor windows.

This beautiful market town is perfectly located for exploring the Lake District National Park, the Lancashire coastline and the Yorkshire Dales. The property is located close to St. Mary’s 11th century Church and a stone’s throw to the River Lune to savour in Ruskin’s View, as captured by JMW Turner, and the stroll along the riverbank path to 14th century Devils Bridge. Kirkby Lonsdale is an Ideal location for walking, cycling, shopping or simply relaxing.
Getting around
Everything you might require for your stay is on your door step. Cycling & walking is popular in Cumbria and there are local buses into the larger market towns (Lancaster and Kendal).

This is luxurious accommodation with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. As the price is for the use of the full home, which can comfortably home up to 7 guests, it is excellent value for money. We supply quality bedding and towels plus most of the toiletries such as soaps, shampoos etc. There is also the essential equipment & ingredients you might need for some good home cooking.

Located in Carnforth, this cottage is in a rural area and on a lake. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Yorkshire Dales National Park and Lake District National Park. Traveling with kids?
