Coast or countryside, ancient or modern, Lincolnshire has it all, come, explore and find out for yourself. Dating from Roman times, this historic town has grown into a thriving university city. With a magnificent cathedral and a medieval castle in the uphill historic Bailgate area, by the famous Steep Hill. To the east, lies the county's best kept secret, The Lincolnshire Wolds, with rolling hills and picturesque villages. The golden sands of the Lincolnshire coast can be found further east. If you enjoy golf, there is a 9 hole golf course within a mile of the cottage with a restaurant and bar and a top pro course at Woodhall Spa and Blackley 6 miles away. Ten pin bowling a short drive away. Watch some racing at Cadwell Park and if you re lucky you will see some planes from RAF Waddington. There is a footpath close to the cottage which wanders through the nearby countryside. Step into the spacious lounge/kitchen/diner which is bright and airy and has patio doors that provide beautiful views over the countryside and lead to the hot tub. The kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a storm and offers an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, and microwave with a central spacious kitchen island with bar stool seating for four. Put your feet up on the reclining sofa or chairs with something good on the TV and relax after a long day. There are two bedrooms, both offering a king size bed and the second bedroom offers patio doors leading out to the garden, open them up in the warmer months and let the breeze flow through while you enjoy a lay in. Along the hallway is a dresser and array of leaflets with things to do during your stay, you will surely get some inspiration here. The shower room offers an enclosed shower, sink and WC. Outside, there is a hot tub that benefits from gazebos as well as Bluetooth and mood lights situated at the rear of the property overlooking the Wolds. The garden is complete with a dining table and chairs, perfect for dining alfresco. There is also a large lawn area to the side of the cottage which has a kids play area with swings, slides and a climbing frame. The garden is great for garden games and stretching the dog s legs. There is off road parking for two cars and bike storage available.
