Parson's Lodge, Long Stratton

Norfolk. Sleeps up to 4

The word Stratton comes from the Roman word Stratum and means paved street. Stratton St Michael lies at the north end of Long Stratton, being one of its parishes. Located just ten miles from the charming cathedral city of Norwich with its excellent range of shops, restaurants and culture. The market towns of Harleston, Bungay and Beccles are all within easy driving distance as is the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Southwold and Aldeburgh are well worth a visit. This is an excellent base for exploring both the surrounding rural areas and The Broads to the east.

The old kitchens to this Grade II listed Georgian parsonage were sensitively restored and converted to a spacious two-bedroomed ground floor lodge in 2007. Original features and reclaimed materials were used throughout. The resulting light, airy and spacious living area with vaulted ceilings and patio door access to established gardens is delightful.
