Benefiting from an unspoilt, rural location, this cottage enjoys picturesque walks and cycleways right on its doorstep. Located in the village of Beeston, with its friendly pub and shop, the cottage is within reach of the many attractions Norfolk has to offer. A short car journey takes you to the spectacular beaches of Holkham and Burnham Overy Staithe (both 22 miles), the historic village of Castle Acre (8 miles), and the Queen's favourite country retreat of Sandringham. Coastal towns and villages within easy reach include the lively Wells next the Sea and the traditional seaside town of Hunstanton (20 miles). Further on is Blakeney (25 miles) with its grey seal colony, and the charming coastal town of Sheringham (27.5 miles) where you can catch the steam railway to the Georgian town of Holt. The Norfolk Broads are within easy reach, enjoy a day by the river or hire a boat and explore the waterways. This sustainable cottage sits within the grounds of the owners working farm. After parking in the gravelled courtyard and entering the hallway, you instantly get a feel for the care and attention that has gone into renovating this barn into a wonderful holiday home. Left and down the hallway, is the open plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area, bursting with character with original exposed beams and tasteful decor. The lounge area is the perfect place to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries, with a large comfortable L shaped sofa and a snuggle chair more than enough places for guests to gather. On colder evenings, you can fire up the wood burner and cosy up with loved ones in front of a movie on the Smart TV. The chef among you will feel at home in this contemporary kitchen which has all you need to prepare a quick snack or hearty meal, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and a dishwasher. Just off the kitchen is the rear lobby, ideal for hanging your coats and kicking off your walking boots, and the family bathroom, bath with shower over and WC. Enjoy dinner and conversation with family or friends at the dining table, which has ample seating for all five guests. Come the evening, there is a choice of three lovely bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, along with hanging and storage space for clothes and belongings, and an en suite shower room and WC. There is also a second king size bedroom and a single room. Both have ample storage space and share a lovely family bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. Accessed via the rear lobby, off the kitchen, is a patio area within a low fenced garden. Enjoy the tranquil views out towards the pastures where the owners' horses graze. There is outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ for those who wish to kick back and relax with a drink or two or indulge in a spot of al fresco dining. There is an outside utility area that houses a washing machine and tumble dryer which guests are more than welcome to use. And there is off road private parking in the secure courtyard area for two cars, shared with the owners.
