There are walks straight from the village so you can go off and explore the wonderful Yorkshire countryside with all it has to offer. Why not pop into the village pub and reward yourselves with a refreshing drink and hearty meal. The seaside towns of Whitby and Filey make excellent days out, as do the quaint coastal villages of Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The pretty village of Thornton Le Dale, home to quaint shops and a meandering river lies just over three miles away. If you want to venture a little further, drive just seven miles to reach the ancient woodland of Dalby Forest. Upon entering this cosy cottage, you will instantly feel at home and relaxed. The owners have gone to detail to create a romantic atmosphere while you are here. In the lounge is a sofa set across from the electric wood burner and a Smart TV, with Sky TV, which is all you need to kick back and relax after a day out in the Yorkshire countryside. Next we have the stylish kitchen which has all you need to create a magical meal for two with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer (no washing machine supplied). On the first floor the bedroom is one of luxury and comfort with a king size bed in a beautiful frame and the room still retains some lovely features such as the exposed wooden flooring. There is also a shower room with shower and WC which is ideal after trekking around this wonderful region. Outside is a joy to behold with a sofa seating area with table and parasol to relax on whilst dinner is cooking on the BBQ. Or better still relax in your own private hot tub. There is on street parking at the front of the property.
