"The Coach House nestles within the grounds of "RockHaven" which is a beautiful victorian property that has its own history for those who are interested and wish to delve further into it's roots. "Rockhaven" which is on the Yorkshire Moors and is within the national Park with all it's spendour, is close to the sea and the countryside and is a recognised stop for those that wish to walk the Cleveland Way. If however the Cleveland Way is a little too adventurous, there are plenty of other walks that are less daunting than 108 miles.
If you are into cycling, then there are a mixture of cycle paths on the flat which are part of a disused railway line stretching several miles, or if you wish for a more energetic few days, cycle the hills. The property has secure parking for vehicles and bicycles. For those of you who ride Motorcycles Rockhaven is a perfect setting off point for touring the National Park, which is recognised as some of the best Motorcycling in the UK, but please be careful as it can be dangerous for the unwary.
