The nearest town of Masham (3 miles) boasts Georgian buildings around a cobbled square, site of the famous Sheep Fair in September. Take a tour around the well known Black Sheep and Theakston's breweries. Attractive nearby towns include Leyburn, Middleham, Pateley Bridge, Richmond and Ripon.
