The location of the property means you are just 3 miles from the amenities of Kirkbymoorside, offering a range of independent shops, and a weekly market, complemented by a selection of pubs and places to eat, and 6 miles from the beautiful market town of Helmsley, with the stunning Helmsley Castle and Rievaulx Abbey. The village of Harome, with two well known restaurants, is close by. Cyclists will enjoy exploring the Kirkdale and Kirkbymoorside Cycle Route, while the North York Moors National Park is a haven for walkers. Pickering (10.5 miles) is the base of the North York Moors Steam Railway a day out for all in the area. Castle Howard is only 9 miles away, while York, and the Yorkshire Coast are within a 27 mile radius. Here you have the kitchen, lounge area and a large dining area with a view towards the garden and fields beyond. Perch on a bar stool whilst the chef of the group creates a delicious home cooked dinner.
