This property is located in the picturesque Nidderdale area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in the quiet village of Bewerley. Just half a mile from the village, the town of Pateley Bridge is a popular place with visitors to the area and offers a range of shops which are handy for stocking up on essentials and include Englands oldest sweet shop. The Nidderdale Museum is based in the towns old workhouse and offers a peek at the Yorkshire Dales past. The area is, of course, particularly popular with those who enjoy spending time outdoors taking in the unusual natural landscape which includes Brimham Rocks, How Stean Gorge, and Stump Cross Caverns. Stepping inside this 250 year old stone cottage, guests come first to a welcoming hallway which offers space to leave coats and boots before continuing through to the kitchen/diner. A farmhouse style dining table sits in the centre of this room and there is a good range of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. For those who want to enjoy more formal meals in the evening there is a second table in a separate dining table. In the lounge, meanwhile an arched window affords views over the surrounding fields, whilst there is also an open fire and TV both of which can be enjoyed from the comfortable sofas. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The first of these is a double room which offers plenty of wardrobe space and benefits from an en suite shower room with shower and WC. The second bedroom is a twin room, whilst the third bedroom is a triple room which may suit younger guests, offering a single bed and a set of bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath with handheld shower and WC. Outside, there is a flagstone courtyard to the front of the cottage, whilst there is an enclosed garden to the rear which offers a garden table seating six from where guests can enjoy the uninterrupted views over the neighbouring fields and their resident sheep. There is roadside parking available throughout the village.
