The cottage sits within a small, peaceful village Kirkby Misperton. The village is surrounded by the North York Moors and Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where there are 600 square miles of stunning, heather coated countryside waiting to be discovered on foot or by car. Within the National Park, there are an array of market towns and villages with tearooms, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Local attractions include Flamingo Land and Castle Howard or you could also head to Scarborough or Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. Hutton le Hole, approximately 12 miles away, boasts gift shops, pubs, and the Ryedale Museum which is ideal for walkers. Foodies can head to Malton, Yorkshire's food capital, which in May hosts The Food Festival. Expect artisan stalls, delicious street food, celebrity chefs and much more. The cottage boasts a contemporary interior, with lots of homely touches. As you step inside the hall area there is room to hang coats and shoes. The ground floor space flows around, making it a great place for families to enjoy time together. The kitchen is stylish with integrated appliances; prepare a home cooked dinner and take it into the lounge/diner where a large dining table seats all guests comfortably. After dinner, get comfortable on the leather sofas and watch a film on the large Smart TV, switch on the log effect electric heater on chilly evenings and snuggle up. Completing the ground floor is a downstairs WC. Upstairs on the first floor, you will find three bedrooms a double room with an en suite shower room with a shower and WC; a twin room with a TV; a small double bedroom; and a luxurious bathroom with a handheld shower over a jacuzzi bath and WC. There is also a space where you can work if needed, read quietly or where the kids can entertain themselves on their devices. On the second floor is a double room with an en suite shower room with a shower and WC, and an extra single bed making the perfect family room. Head outside and you ll find a generous garden with garden furniture where you can dine alfresco, light up the fire pit and enjoy your peaceful surrounding well into the evening. At the side of the house is a private, sheltered hot tub perfect for unwinding your tired muscles after a long day exploring the Yorkshire Moors. Also in the garden is a summerhouse where you can retreat to watch TV, play computer games or read quietly. There is a handy storeroom for bikes with a washing machine for those holiday practicalities.
