This traditional stone cottage, converted from an 18th Century dairy, is set in the idyllic Cotswold village of Minster Lovell. Exposed stone and original beams runs throughout the property. There are 3 bedrooms (double/twin/single) which sleeps 5/6. Additional bed available upon request. The lounge has an open fireplace, with 2 sofas (one is a bed settee) and widescreen TV/DVD, opening onto a dining room which sits 6 comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped, with hob, fan oven, microwave, large fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is ground floor shower room and family bathroom upstairs. Wifi included.

The cottage has its own enclosed garden with BBQ, table and chairs. Next to the cottage is a 12 meter indoor swimming pool, available for guest use at certain times. Dairy Cottage is attached to the owners house, and sits within 3 acre mature gardens, extending down to the River Windrush with lovely views of Minster Lovell and the village green. These gardens also contain a tennis court, which is also available for guest use.

The cottage is a 5 minute walk away from the heart of the beautiful village of Minster Lovell which boasts a fantastic gastro-pub and spa, perfect for a pub lunch or pint in the sun. The village contains the historic ruins of Minster Lovell Hall, the 15th Century home of Lord Lovell, a powerful associate of Richard III. This is a truly English village with picturesque thatched cottages, stone buildings and a traditional English Cricket Club. The River Windrush passes through the village.

The cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside walkways, ideal for both a gentle stroll or hike. It is also great cycling country.

Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, Minster Lovell is within a few minutes drive from of market towns Witney and Burford. There are plenty of supermarkets, good shops and free parking. It is within easy reach of Blenheim Palace, the famous Cotswold villages of Borton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

In addition, Dairy Cottage is a 25 minute drive to the heart of the world-famous university city of Oxford (12 miles). Dairy Cottage is also well-situated for those keen to frequent Cheltenham races (~50minute drive, 29 miles). For those who want to travel a little further afield, Birmingham, Cardiff and London are around a 1h30-2hour drive.

For those keen on shopping, the designer outlet Bicester Village is 40 minutes away by car (23 miles).

Bus: A bus to Oxford or Witney can be accessed from a stop approximately 10 minutes walk from the property.

Train: The train station of Charlbury is a 15 minute drive away (8 miles). Here, there are frequent services to London and Oxford.
