If you can tear yourself away from the local area, traverse the national park, with Ben Vorlich a popular peak with outdoor enthusiasts, where you can spend the afternoon freshwater swimming or kayaking at Loch Earn, before travelling north towards Aberfeldy, firstly stopping off at Kenmore Beach; be sure to visit Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery for a guided tour and the chance to buy some locally produced whisky, before following the walking trails towards The Birks Of Aberfeldy.
