Brecon and Builth Wells 8 miles. Resting in the rolling green countryside of Upper Chapel in Powys lies Pen Bont Home Farm, a fabulous, family-friendly, pet-friendly holiday home. With a children's play area and a large games room, this home is ideal for a family gathering or a special occasion. Inside, the home is beautifully equipped with character features and plenty of home comforts for a relaxing self-catered stay. The ground floor is home to a spacious kitchen/diner, a lovely space for the designated chef to show off their skills while the family awaits a feast at the dining table for ten. From here, the sitting room offers a space to relax in front of the woodburning stove, while the study provides space to break away and unwind, should you need it, or even do some office work as a printer is provided. Upstairs, four tastefully decorated bedrooms welcome you to sleep after a busy day of exploring; two super-king-size beds with a zip/link feature mean you have a variety of sleeping options, along with the twin room and a family room, both of which have handy en-suite shower rooms. Outside, the garden makes a fantastic place for hosting in the warmer months, with its barbecue for alfresco cooking and children's play area to keep the little ones entertained. When it's time to explore, make your way into Brecon or Builth Wells; in Builth Wells, treat your loved ones to a meal at Teulu Restaurant at Caer Beris Manor or perhaps a more casual bite at the Cosy Corner Bistro, whilst in Brecon there are a variety of places to eat or take away including The Hop In recommended for tapas and craft beers, and Felinfach Griffin an excellent gastro pub. Even closer to Pen Bont Home Farm is the Lake Country House hotel at Llangammarch Wells 7 miles away, for fine dining and the Pwllgloyw Arms for pub food is the nearest at 5 miles distant. For avid golf fans, enjoy a round of golf at one of two golf courses in Brecon, along with a further course in Builth Wells.
