Dignity is the reward of obeying your heart, follow yours to Elliot Houses where we strive to offer you a taste of luxury country living in the sumptuously furnished surroundings of converted barns and houses, offering boltholes in idyllic and unique settings.
Dignity is situated near Galashiels in the heart of the Scottish Borders. It is in the centre of the 2000 acre family farm called Blackhaugh, which has been in the same family for nearly 200 years. The house is named after a world record price Cheviot Tup (male breeding ram) sold in 1920 for a record breaking 1200 guineas.
Dignity sits within it's own grounds with private parking. The open plan kitchen is spacious and fully kitted out. Relax over dinner, sitting at the beautiful oak table admiring the view through the large arched window. Dignity boasts two living rooms, ideal for family parties of different ages. Both living rooms have flatscreen TV's and DVD players. There are also plenty of indoor board games, books and DVD's as well as an electric piano and a guitar.
There is a lovely view from the patio garden, where you can make use of the charcoal barbecue, hot tub and picnic bench. Cool boxes and picnic ware is available, if you want to take advantage of the many beautiful Border walks or if you would rather walk to the nearby loch with a picnic and try to catch a wild brown trout. One of the Borders cycle routes passes by the road end.

All bedrooms have ample clothes storage, mirrors, hairdryers and bedside cabinets.
