Coachman's Cottage offers a unique bolthole for couples seeking a peaceful coastal retreat. The charming old stable block has been renovated to a fantastic standard, yet retains many original features. The cottage has a very bright and spacious feel, downstairs is the kitchen with dining area, a separate living room with floor to ceiling windows, and bathroom with shower over the bath. The kitchen door opens directly into a private walled courtyard, providing the perfect spot to eat alfresco. Upstairs the bedroom has a king-sized double bed and enjoys superb views across the garden, Porlock Vale and beyond. The cottage is situated in outstanding walking country and for the more energetic there are coastal, woodland and moorland walks served by a network of superb paths almost from the door! Coachman's Cottage is situated between Porlock and Porlock Weir. The property is set back from the road and accessed via a private drive (shared only with the owners property, which is next door). Coachman's Cottage kitchen is fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob. Other equipment includes cookware, toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. A television and CD player is provided in the living room plus a second television in the bedroom and wireless broadband is available throughout the property. A travel cot and/or high chair is available; please request them when booking so we can make sure they are present for your arrival. Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Coachman's Cottage is fitted with central heating throughout, plus underfloor heating in the bathroom. There is also a log-burner in the living room, one basket of logs will be provided to get you started and additional logs can be purchased from the hardware shop in Porlock.
