Southwold is a seaside town where there is so much on offer for guests, so if you can tear yourself away from this magical property, Southwold Cannons and Southwold Lighthouse are both well worth a visit. With such a large beach, taking a walk in the salty air is a must, and you can also try out watersports and wild swimming. Southwold has a variety of eateries and independent shops for you to explore, however, you can travel further from the property to visit a handful of castles strewn across Suffolk, including Orford Castle and Framlingham Castle.
