There are steps up to the front door of this elegant town house to give it an elevated position to make the most of the uninterrupted sea views. You step into the hall and the stylish lounge with beautiful karndean flooring is on your right, with 2 comfortable sofas and a smart TV. Light fills the room through the big bay window which overlooks the beach and sea. The famous Mortello tower can also be seen in front of the house.
Felixstowe is increasingly popular as a seaside destination. The popular pier, seafront gardens and adventure golf are minutes away. There’s plenty to interest all guests with a golf club, sailing, ferry to Bawdsey, and town centre with a charming mix of major retailers and independent boutiques, plus a great choice of shopping and eateries.
The lounge leads into the kitchen/diner which is fully equipped with built in fridge/freezer, dishwasher, eye level oven and electric hob. There is a dining table and chairs. To the left of the kitchen there is and a good sized cloakroom and a small utility area with a washing machine and microwave,. From the kitchen, doors lead onto the decking at the back of the house with table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy a meal or a glass of wine in the afternoon sun. Steps lead own to the garden which is laid to grass and shrubs. The back gate leads onto the private parking area where there is space for 2 cars.
Stairs with hand rails on both sides, lead to the first floor where there are 2 good sized double rooms and a shared bathroom with bath and hand held shower. The front bedroom has good clothes hanging space and storage, and 2 bedside tables. It has a Juliet balcony where you could sit and look out to sea. The second bedroom is a twin with 1 bedside table and some storage and windows looking out to the back. At the end of the landing there is a chaise long where you could relax with a book, or simply enjoy the sea views.
Stairs lead up to 2nd floor and the master bedroom. This beautiful room runs the length of the house. It has a king size bed with 2 bedside tables. A step leads onto a good sized balcony with uninterrupted views along the coast. There is a dressing area with large, mirrored walk in wardrobe on your right and a smaller mirrored wardrobe on your left. This leads onto the ensuite shower room with a large step in shower with a grab rail and a window to the back.
The 1st and 2nd floors are carpeted throughout (except the bathrooms). There is handrails on both sides of the stairs all the way up the 2nd floor as well as grab rails at the top of each staircase. Good storage in all bedrooms.
Located in Felixstowe, this vacation home is on the beach. Felixstowe Museum and Ipswich Transport Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Manning's Amusement Park and Forum Amusement Centre. Ocean Boulevard Fun Park and Felixstowe Seafront Gardens are also worth visiting.
