Ideally situated for exploring Tynemouth, the recently refurbished Park Base is a welcoming place to stay when holidaying in the North East. Sleeping two guests, you can enjoy this bright and welcoming apartment as a couple or during a solo adventure.

The Space:
At the heart of this apartment is the combined kitchen and living room. With a spacious and comfy sofa sat in front of a large wall-mounted flat screen TV, this is the perfect spot to kick back and relax with your loved one in the evening.

The kitchen has been designed with wooden worktops, high-shine white cupboards and white brick style tiles. The space also houses all of the appliances you could need including an oven and hob, along with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave and a washing machine.

Through from the living area is the bedroom. Boasting a king size bed, this comfortable space will guarantee you a great night’s sleep during your stay at Park Base. If a cosy night in is what you’re after, you can enjoy a movie night in front of the TV which is equipped with streaming services such as Netflix.

Park Base’s bathroom is very generous in size and is equipped with a bathtub and overhead shower, along with a wash basin and WC.

Outside, you’ll find a well-presented private patio area which is the ideal spot for taking in some fresh sea air.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the apartment are accessed via a secure key safe code, details of which will be provided prior to your stay.

Free on-street parking is available outside the property on a first come, first served basis and no permit is required.

Smoking & vaping is strictly prohibited at Park Base. The use of naked flames is also not allowed.

The use of BBQ's is strictly prohibited at Park Base.

Pets are strictly not permitted to stay at Park Base.

The Neighborhood:
Steeped in history with strong maritime connections, Park Base is located in the upmarket seaside town of Tynemouth. Boasting a beautiful sandy beach just a 15 minute walk away from the property, a Victorian boating lake and an array of independent cafes, restaurants and bars, there is truly something for everyone in Tynemouth. Enjoy relaxing walks along the seafront, amble along the promenade to the popular North Shields Fish Quay or explore the Blue Reef Aquarium. If you have little ones, they’ll love Tynemouth Park where there is a dinosaur themed mini golf course and pedalo boats.

We’d also recommend visiting Whitley Bay during your stay where you can enjoy two miles of golden sands and experience incredible views of the coastline from the Victorian lighthouse on St Mary’s Island. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat, head to Spanish City where you’ll find a Renaissance-style hall transformed with a fish and chip restaurant, a traditional tearoom, a waffle and pancake house and a champagne bar inside.

Getting Around:
The apartment is within close proximity of Northumberland Park, approximately 100 yards from the entrance of the property building. Tynemouth Golf Club is at the top of Washington Terrace.

There is a metro station located in Tynemouth, a 10 minute walk from the apartment, with frequent routes to South Shields and Newcastle so you can explore the North East easily.

You’ll also find a number of bus stops throughout the town. The number 1 bus takes you into Newcastle and then onto Gateshead is every 20 minutes, with the bus stop being by Northumberland Park, just outside the property.

Located by the sea, this apartment is in Tynemouth, a neighborhood in North Shields. PLAYHOUSE and Bede's World are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Port Of Tyne and Whitley Bay Golf Club. The Fish Quay Fair and Tynemouth Aquarium are also worth visiting.
