A Traditional Country Experience, Southwater

West Sussex. Sleeps up to 3

For those wanting the traditional country experience with added comfort and luxury, "The Look Out" Shepherd's Hut is just want you need.

Relocated from Edge Hill, Banbury in The Cotwolds, “The Look Out” is a nod to both the past and present; a traditional shepherd’s hut exterior with all the mod cons you need on the inside. Our beautiful shepherd’s hut was handmade by the skilled craftsmen at Riverside Shepherd Huts in Worcestershire; who continues to blend time-honoured techniques together with the benefits of modern technology and materials.

There is a fold-down double bed accompanied by a luxurious feather duvet and plump pillows with Egyptian cotton bed linen. Soft fluffy towels, slippers and bath robes are provided for your comfort during your stay. The kitchen has two electric rings and a full-size electric oven, integrated fridge with freezer compartment, along with kitchen utensils and tableware. There is also a modern bathroom with an electric shower, Moroccan ceramic basin and a regular flushing toilet.

Whether you are on a romantic getaway or a family holiday, "The Lookout" offers both comfort and luxury in a beautiful rural setting.  Additional accommodation can be provided for 1 child or adult on an inflatable single mattress or 1 infant in a travel cot.  We also permit one well-behaved dog to stay and provide a doggie welcome pack for your 'fur-baby'.

Outside, is your own private patio with a fire pit BBQ and views over fields and woodlands. You can often see buzzards soaring the skies overhead and a herd of deer grazing at dusk in the fields. At night, you will hear the owls calling to one another. If you’re especially lucky, you may even get to see the elusive barn owl! We get some spectacular sunsets here and on a clear night, you can see the Milky Way.

Please note:

1. This is a non-smoking accommodation for a maximum of 2 adults in a pulldown bed.
2. Additional accommodation for 1 child/adult on an inflatable single mattress, for an additional fee of £50 per week, or 1 infant in a travel cot for an additional fee of £30 per week.

Dog House Rules:
1. We permit 1 well-behaved dog to stay for an additional fee of £40 per week.
2. We don’t like the idea of your fur-baby getting lonely, so please do not leave them unsupervised at any time.
3. Although most people’s days are brightened by seeing a dog, please keep other guests in mind.
4. We are a working farm, and whilst some of our furry friends just love having a good runaround the fields, please keep you dog under control when around the unit, and on a lead when walking through the farmyard and never allow  dogs to chase livestock or wildlife.
5. We know your doggy may be excited about your getaway but, please keep in mind that there may be a cost for any doggy damages.
6. We know your doggy might get comfy on the sofa at home, but while with us please keep dogs off the beds and soft furnishings.
7. Your unit will come with dog treats, a dog bed or blanket and a dog bowl. However, we know dogs love their own beds so feel free to bring your own.
8. There’s nothing better than when your four-legged friend comes with a friend of their own, but please note we cannot accept any more than 1 dog per unit.
9. It goes without saying that your doggy may get muddy! Your accommodation comes with a dog blanket, but if your dog is particularly large or enjoys getting very muddy then please bring an extra blanket for them.

Located in Horsham, this mobile home is in a rural area and on a lake. Warnham Local Nature Reserve and High Weald reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Sumners Ponds and Virtual Flight Centre. Sussex Prairies Garden and Holmbush Paintball are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
