Camden Crescent was built by John Eveleigh c.1790 but was never completed. Above the doorways can be seen a single elephant's head, which was a part of the coat of arms of Charles Pratt, Marquis of Camden. It is a wonderful location with great views and 5-10 minutes walk downhill to the city centre. You can take a stroll to admire other fine Georgian buildings nearby, including the Royal Crescent and The circus.

A private free standing parking place is provided and located behind the Crescent. Alternatively the train and bus station are a 20 minute walk away.
