Portrush is a popular seaside destination for visitors and tourists. Its golden sands are lined by dramatic cliffs that have been weatherworn over the centuries into a spectacle of caves waiting to be explored and superb views over the Skerries to the Scottish Islands.Directions: The main carpark at East Strand is adjacent to the southern edge of the beach and is accessed from Causeway Street in Portrush. The pedestrian promenade, which flanks the entire southern boundary of the beach, can be accessed on foot at the Arcadia area of the town centre. The Northern Ireland Railway Station is located within easy walking distance of the beach.
